OWA Ceilings have become one of the market leaders within the ceilings industry, producing high performance mineral wool ceiling products, as well as the associated grid systems. Manufacturing is based in Germany.
OWAcoustic® ceiling tiles utilise a new material for manufacture based on their long-term research - this is known as Bio-mineral wool, which is derived from a mixture of sand, recycled glass and limestone. This mineral wool product is completely harmless to health and fulfils all national and international regulations.
OWA Ceiling tiles do not have any distinguishing markings which will differentiate one tile to another, however very occasionally 'OWA' may be printed on the reverse.
The main difference between tiles is the obvious face pattern, although different ranges do tend to come in a specific thickness:

This is OWA's most popular range of suspended ceiling tiles as they offer a good balance between cost and performance, whilst being light weight and aesthetically quite pleasing. They also offer oustanding fire protection performance.
Entry level range which are used where basic performance attributes are needed.
As it is so difficult to determine which tile is which, the typical identification steps need to be followed:
Face Pattern - below are a few examples of the most popular face patterns available for OWA Ceiling tiles within each of the three key ranges - there are many more available.
